Latte Graphic
Jiyugaoka
About
Hidden in the charming alleys of Jiyugaoka, Latte Graphic fuses the homespun atmosphere of an Aussie café with Japanese dedication to detail. Inspired by Melbourne's coffee scene, it's a busy but friendly spot where locals and tourists mingle for similarly great coffee, homely food, and laid-back atmosphere every time. Whether a leisurely brunch or a quick flat white, it's a winner that gets both right with charm.
Ambiance
Bright and airy, and always humming with quiet energy, the space is entirely up-to-date — imagine natural wood finishes, pockets of greenery, and warm lighting. The space is smart, too, with large communal tables, cozy corner nooks, and a relaxed buzz that encourages leisurely mornings and lengthy catchups. It's ideal for brunch dates, solo writing, or casual catchups with a laptop by your side. While its popular, it never really gets too wild — just pleasantly alive.
Food & Drinks
Faithful to its Melbourne roots, Latte Graphic gets the coffee just so right. Their flat white is silky smooth and balanced, and their espresso-based drinks are silky smooth with a just-so kick. The food is Western-style café food with a Japanese twist — their Eggs Benedict is great, and the Ricotta Pancakes are pillowy yumminess. They also have seasonal specials and healthy eats that look wholesome without being boring. Everything tastes like it's been carefully selected but doesn't come across as fussy.
Price
Drinks range from ¥500–¥750, and most food items sit between ¥1,000–¥1,500. Slightly on the higher end for a casual café, but totally justified by the portion sizes, presentation, and quality. You’re paying for both substance and style — and it feels fair.
What It Feels Like
Latte Graphic has the flavour of a weekend spent in café form — intimate, laid-back, and just lively enough to wake you up. Something about the comforting flavours mixed with the detail-focused Japanese method is reassuring. Whether you're there to lounge around or simply take a fast pit stop, it always feels like time well spent.
Would I Recommend?
Absolutely. If you find yourself wandering the greenish streets of Jiyugaoka and have a hankering for a warm, good-quality café experience, Latte Graphic is your best bet. It's one of the few places that knows exactly what it wants to be — and does so each time.
